If you are a legacy certainly have a letter sent. Although Purdue does not hold strongly to legacies or rec letters. If you can get rec letters, go ahead. They can't hurt. At the most, it may give you one more round with a house. Don't worry about them if you don't have them. What matters most is that you present your best SELF.
