Sure, it's Greek RANK- but are you actually ranking the other sororities based on your individual experiances and perceptions? Or are you just parroting the same "tiers" that you were taught when you were rushing, and that have been around for Decades? I totally agree that this should be a website to share advice, ask questions, and rank sororities. But people on here don't even know WHY some sororities are ranked higher than others. I also don't understand why the rankings are based on looks and social life rather than sisterhood quality and campus involvement. That's the reason I wanted to join a sorority in the first place, so I expected the top sororities to have the strongest sisterhood and be super involved on campus. My favorite sorority during rush was middle tier, but I joined a "top tier" one because this site told me it was "better". I love my sorority, but some of my sisters care too much about image- and some of the girls are outright mean. I wonder what it would have been like if I had joined a sorority that wasn't so focused on looks. By listening to other people's rankings instead of my own, i feel like I missed out on that opportunity. I wish people would share their own personal opinions on this site more often, so that girls didn't feel shameful for wanting to join a sorority that isn't at the "top". Obviously social life and appearances play a part in the overall ranking, but there should be more to it than that.
