I know multiple sororities, including those in the "top tier" that have taken a few girls each spring. A number of reasons can factor into this aside from girls dropping such as girls doing semesters abroad, transfers, exchange students, or girls graduating early. It's not always cause "x" number of girls dropped in the fall that we have to take that number in spring - it's an overall campus total that each chapter has to maintain. It's unnecessary for everyone to be calling out specific sororities trying to be like "XYZ always does spring cause they aren't good" especially since we don't know what the totals will be THIS spring.
