I'm a senior in a middle tier house that I love. When I was a freshman, I preffed a top tier, a middle tier, and a bottom tier. I was soooooo worried over what I heard during tent talk that week, that I only listed the top tier and the middle tier on my pref card. I was LUCKY to get my 2nd choice. I could have missed out on getting a bid altogether. Now that I'm a senior, I've made friends in all the houses. I'm ashamed that I let the rumors cloud my judgment. I should have put the bottom tier house on my pref card. I would have been just as happy there as with the top tier or my current middle tier house. Also, I would have been GUARANTEED A BID if I had maxed out my pref card. All 10 houses are amazing. Tiers only exist during rush and the drags you mix with. Little known secret: all frat boys are the same. Plus, frat guys will still date you no matter what house you're in if they think you're cool and hot. And, all of our sororities are hotter than all of the Dook sororities, so the Dook frats love to mix with Carolina frats. Good luck tonight!!!
