However, this year will likely be very different since Alpha Phi is colonizing. I doubt everyone will be "promised a bid" from one of the houses they have left if they maximize their options. However I do agree that suiciding is a terrible idea. Rush tends to be a shallow process, but bid day is when you actually get to see people be themselves. If you get a bid to a house you weren't in love with during rush, go to bid day & stick around for a while to see what the girls are like outside of rush. There's no benefit to refusing to associate with a group of girls you didn't like during rush, but you might end up loving a house you thought you wouldn't like if you give them a chance.
