You can call it artificial if you want but it’s logical - if 100% of the girls a house invites back also want that house, then there’s no point inviting back twice as many girls as they need. If a house usually only gets 50% of the girls back that they want, then they should invite 2x as many in order to reach quota - it’s common sense. A “top” house by definition can be more selective. No one is taking away a bid from any PNM that a house wanted enough to put on their first bid list etc. It does suck that cuts are so deep right away when you barely get to talk to people. Rush is definitely not perfect or fair in a lot of ways.
