Subject:
sorority vibes going into fall 2020

Poster Message:
I'm going to try to keep this fair because there are great and not-so-great things about every chapter top tier: these houses have been top for a long time KD: good girls, extremely smart, very southern and very rich. Kinda soccer mom types. You have to have major connections to get into this house, it's a quintessential southern sorority. Old money. There are some really snotty girls, but that's just to be expected at the top. DDD: Practically every girl in this sorority studies abroad. Big party girls, world travelers, a lot more out of state girls than you'd expect for a top house. Filthy rich, and you won't get into this house without major connections. More new money, though. Ditto that there are some snotty, too-good-for-you girls in this house. lower top: top tier, but more mobility in that a good PC or a bad PC could change their standing Chi O: practically a 50/50 mix of girls who are SUPER religious and sweet vs girls who are insane party animals. A lot of rich Charlotte girls. They were really good in 2016, 2017 but have low-key been falling with the last couple pledge classes. New money. ADPi: a lot of really sweet religious girls, very southern. BEAUTIFUL house, obviously rich. Old money. Not as relevant as the other top tier houses though. upper mid: these sororities are a great solid choice, don't need connections as much as top houses AXO: girl next door. very laid back, smart, diverse, many girls are not as much the "sorority" type but so genuine and kind. not known for being super social. on the rise. ZTA: Frats love them. Big party girl, ~instagram influencer~ types. House is pretty run-down though, and they don't have a great reputation when it comes to sisterhood. they've been low-key falling the past few years lower mid: most girls can get into a sorority at this level, quite a few who could've gone upper mid but slipped through the cracks Phi Mu: really chill, nice girls. not super social tho, and honestly don't really have a large footprint on campus compared to the other mid-tier sororities Alpha Phi: basically the girls who got dropped from ZTA. Party girls, Instagram influencers, and their new house is nearly finished. They're on the rise, but have also heard not-great things about their sisterhood and they had a 15-person spring PC because of drops- not a great look. upper bottom: sororities where a great PC could turn things around, but historically haven't been doing super well, always have a few great girls who slipped through the cracks pi phi: really sweet, friendly, kinda a random mix of girls tho, they don't have a strong identity in terms of their chapter's personality but they seem nice. they are kind of similar to an off-brand Phi Mu, with a very strong sisterhood. kkg: similar to alpha chi in that they're diverse, laidback, genuine. just not super social, and there are at least a couple of girls in each PC that you're shocked got into ANY sorority. Beautiful house tho, and very strong sisterhood. Bottom of the bottom: PNMs should deeply consider not joining Tri-Sig: they have less than half as many members as every other sorority, and nearly had their charter revoked last year. Some nice girls, but a lot of WEIRD ones. This is the only sorority that I would caution against joining, as I think it's the only one that won't last 4 more years on this campus. Phi Beta Chi: WEIRD, Jesus freak girls. They have maybe 20 members, tops. Lost their house and are rapidly falling
