I understand that the drinking age in North Carolina is 21, but can someone give me a valid reason on why serving alcohol to an 18 year old is any more detrimental to the community than serving one to a 21 year old. We are adults in a society where we should be able to make our own decisions and live with the consequences. If we end up in the hospital for drinking alcohol that should be on you and not a fraternity or a bar.
