I was recently accepted to UNC Chapel Hill and I plan on rushing a sorority my first semester. I'm hoping to get a bid to one of the top sororities, but I am an out of state student and I don't know anyone in these sororities. I went to a small private school in Georgia. I'm funny and friendly and in general a pretty cool person, and I think I'm pretty attractive. Is there any chance at all of me getting a bid if they like me during rush week despite the fact that I don't come from a NC feeder high school? I'm asking mainly because I read a thread on another website that claimed it was impossible to get bids to any worthwhile sororities as an OOS student with connections or letters of recommendation.
