Hey I totally get where you're coming from because I withdrew from rush my freshman year. However, rushing as a sophomore won't necessarily be any easier because houses often only take girls that are close friends with current actives. I rushed again sophomore year, and all the houses that cut me freshman year cut me again the second time. Also if you join as a sophomore you generally are closer with girls in your pledge class rather than girls in your academic year which can be tough sometimes. So many girls have dropped this year, so know that you're not the only one feeling this way. If you end up regretting your decision in dropping and end up wanting to join a sorority, I highly recommend reaching out to your Gamma Chi and seeing if any houses are looking for COB's. I really wish I had done this after rush my freshman year because then I would have gotten to spend another year with a house and girls I love!
