They were most likely below campus total because their junior and senior classes last year were smaller, understandably because not as many older girls joined when they colonized. I'm sure some older girls probably dropped but I haven't heard of many younger girls dropping. I think they said they expect to be up to campus total after this year? Which would make sense because they have a large sophomore and junior class now, and will most likely meet quota again. If I'm wrong someone please correct me! I have friends in A Phi and I seem to remember them saying something like 2 years of formal recruitment to reach total but I could be completely wrong. So while sigma has smaller classes in general, APhi had two smaller classes and two classes that are typical size pledge classes. To be honest I'm not even sure that Sigma takes juniors. Every girl I've met in sigma and all my friends in there joined either their freshmen or junior year. Houses do not typically take juniors unless you're a transfer.
