What are you confused about? If you know someone in a top house or you dirty rush you can get in If you don't then you can't (usually) It's not rocket science people. Don't let it affect your self worth bc it's rarely based on that. It's a shame you dropped out but TBH if you were rushing for social status then you were in it for the wrong reasons anyways
