I think the other HUGELY important thing is that even if you're a little disappointed right now, you make sure you go and try it out. Even if you missed bid day, go to social events and meals. Try to get out and meet your new pledge class and the older sisters who you haven't met yet (it's a lot less intense in these kinds of situations than right away at bid day). Once you get going it's easier to forget about the feeling of rejection that you may have right and focus more on the positives of what your new friendships will be like! As long as you give it a legitimately good try, you won't have any regrets later on that you may have if you don't give your house a real shot.
