OK, first of all Aphi and KD are IN the upper middle, so it's not accurate to say that the "upper middle" is better to join. And out of the 5 houses in the upper middle, XO, KKG and ADPi are more prestigious, and also more down to earth (although KD is ok in this area). If you are an attractive girl, you will have no shortage of guys interested in you no matter what house you join, because there are more guys than girls at UofI. So why not join a house where you actually fit in and will make more good friends.
