It's just people's personal opinions. You are right, parity now rules the sorority world. Every house has cute and not-so. Sorority rankings are SO irrelevant because every house has something to offer, and as far as social, if your sorority doesn't do anything with a particular frat, you can still go to their parties and meet the guys. No girl should join any sorority for any reason other than that she gets along with the girls and can see being friends with them.
