I'm sure you've heard it before that you shouldn't go through rush with your heart set on any one house. That's still true. But anyways, rushing in general is different you're a sophomore. It's much more competitive (at least in my own experience). Add that to fact that rushing top houses are competitive... you get the picture. Some houses may only take a few sophomores, if any. Others take a lot. Ultimately if the girl loves you, she won't care that you're a sophomore. If they ask why you're rushing a year later, be sure to say that you are a transfer. Just try to keep the conversation going after that question, don't let her focus too much on the fact that you are older.
