They are clubs, not fraternities. You have no real vested interest - you join for a few years then move on with your life and thats it. An IFC Fraternity is for life. There are guys from my frat that joined 40 years ago and still get together. Join if you want - but not instead of a real frat. You will regret it when you graduate and realize it is just air.
