Extremely rich people do not send their kids to TXST. At TXST, you do not need to have rich parents to be in a fraternity or sorority. So my preceding comment was not not meant to imply that. In fact, I'd bet that the percentage of students who can afford to be in an IFC fraternity or a Panhellenic sorority is rather small at TXST. So if you (or your family) can afford the dues and associated expenses, you will most likely be selected by some organization at TXST based on your accomplishments and presentation -- not your parents' income. There are likely a few actives from well-off families evenly scattered throughout each organization, but they will be a small minority. Don't be intimidated -- most of the active members ill be just like you.
