UT's recruitment is the only recruitment in Tx closest to real SEC recruitment. SMU and TCU have strong greek life's but TCU gets more cliquey because they have fall rush and SMU has spring rush like Baylor. Tech's greek life is big, but it's no where as life defining as it is at some other schools. SMU and TCU can't help it since they're small but at a school like UT in theory it shouldn't be that big of a deal. TTU is western, less southern. You're ignorant if you think it's more southern than UT/A&M(hello, SEC?) or SMU's rush.
