Tech is not a traditional &/or southern style system at all. It's west Texas. They have more in common with Arizona than the SEC. Having only lodges screws it up too. TCU has potential but not being allowed to have houses really sets them back, a lot. A real "traditional southern" greek system is somewhere between UT & SMU. Neither one is a good example on its own but they both have important elements that no one else in the state does. Texas State has made a huge amount of progress in recent years, but it's still a long ways off.
