To be clear - we are talking about two types of fraternities. The first type is a fraternity that is not presently in IFC but is still chartered and recognized by its nationals. They may be serving a suspension by the university and, when the suspension expires, be readmitted back on campus by the university. At one time or another, many of the fraternities presently on campus have been in this situation. The second type is a fraternity that is suspended by the university and has had its charter revoked by its national organization. Stay away from the second type.
