I'm in a top house. Unless you are a grade or reputation risk we look at EVERY app. If we didn't like you in HS we won't now. Top houses talk to each other. If you make it past the first round it's up to you! Be enthusiastic and appreciative. We are hot and tired too. More than one "top" pnm has been cut for being whiny and acting entitled. The playing field is completely different now. Most PNM's quickly figure out there are many girls just like them. We don't care if you cheered or danced or were popular in hs. We all did and we all were. Houses pick you, you don't pick them. Dress cute but conservative. Body con dressses are not appropriate. Connections help but we take girls without them. If you are cut it's mostly a numbers game. All my sisters had pnms they wanted and were heartbroken when they got cut. It takes more than one or two girls to get you a bid. Chapter legacies are not guarantees. I knew no one in my pledge class and can't imagine life without my sisters now! If you are offered a bid to any house take it! There are great girls in every house and sorority life is what you make it. Relax and trust you will end up where you belong. Good luck!
