Yes, well almost. At pref I had a supposed top house and s supposed bottom house. I ranked the supposed top house as my number one because I believed the hype even though my inner voice kept telling me I felt more comfortable in the other house. I ended up with my second choice on bid day, and now a year later I can tell you it was the best thing that ever happened to me! Nothing wrong at all with the house I didn't get a bid at, but once I saw the reality of both houses outside of recruitment, rankings etc., I realize I didn't belong there. I am SO HAPPY in my house, I can't even explain how lucky I feel to have gotten my second choice. Go with your gut, PNMs!
