As a girl who is in an Panhellenic org it isn’t always fun and games. Yes, having the Panhellenic name can help with networking for the future, but let’s face it. Most of these girls already have their future set for them. They are part of the wealthier class, so they don’t have a lot to worry about when it comes to the brand that they have for themselves. Especially with the fact that they already have a plethora of followers to back them up. Doing the “smurush” tiktok’s definitely helped with creating more attention to them and increasing their number of followers. Whether they got dropped or they dropped themselves it really shouldn’t matter to anybody but them. Anyways, the spots that they opened up in those sororities allowed for girls who actually wanted to be in those orgs. You can make as many speculations as you want. I don’t know what happens in TS, but the only people that actually know about what happens in it are in it. Like someone said above the more you keep talking about it the more attention you’re giving them. So if y’all ACTUALLY dislike them, stop talking about them (writing a greekrank thread about them sounds pretty obsessive). While I think creating TS was a dumb idea cause now Theta is never going to come back, they’ve kind of been doing a good job. They’ve raised money for philanthropies, they’re so small they’re able to showcase individual love to each member, and since they’re not apart of Panhellenic or a National org they don’t have to create so many rules on the members that will lead the members to either hate the org or just drop in general because it’s so strict. Tbh I would’ve tried to keep TS under the table so by the time Theta came back (which would’ve/should’ve been this year), they would’ve already had a phenomenal pledge class to start off with. Unfortunately that’s not gonna happen which is really sad for past alums. I just have to applaud them though because even though they’re getting bad publicity, it’s still publicity. People are talking about them, which is causing them to get more interaction/followers on their social medias. I won’t be surprised and y’all shouldn’t either if more PNM’s start dropping to go TS next year. The younger generations aren’t really for the rules that official sororities have to offer so I could see how TS would look pretty interesting to them.
