You are correct but this can change. Something HAS to change. We don't need to give frat boys any influence in sorority life, pnm's decisions, or our sisterhoods. MOVE SORORITY RECRUITMENT TO THE FALL. It will not only eliminate the window for most of the toxicity, on the part of frats and sororities, but will also give every pnm a better rush and make sorority members' first semester experience better than it has ever been. Also, imagine the shoe being on the other foot, when frats have their rush second semester and the sororities are in a position to influence/judge their rush and their rushees. Would love to see that for a change, just because. If panhellenic really wants a culture change we are going to have to step up and make it happen. We have the right to determine our own sorority culture at our school. The sororities need to stick together to support each other and we will all be better for it.
