With “Theta’s” recent behaviour since the chapter was closed, I sincerely doubt Theta International nor SMU will re-establish their charter for an extended time. Theta Society members did not go quietly as alumnae. Their presence and terrible image on campus will deter Theta and SMU from re-colonising. They made their bed and will lie in it (as a non-recognised group) for several years until all graduate. Then Theta can best consider re-establishment with a clean slate and potential members who truly will represent Theta and Panhellenic by the standards Theta and all women’s Greek groups were first founded.
