I think most of us can agree that at least some of the new-SMU-Theta-alumnae group are feeling desperate that can no longer hold themselves out at being a member of the top sorority on campus, which puts a little crack in their facade on the web or in clubs. The less attractive members will feel it the worst, particularly for social connections, and ability to market themselves as a potential trophy wife. Sorry to be blunt.
