I agree with this but the also need time to grieve and have every right to in their own way. I'm sure members are devastated and heartbroken. I'm sure they feel betrayed by nationals who I'm pretty sure didn't come to campus to announce this to the entire chapter before it happened. Members may feel very sad or very angry at this situation. Let them express their feelings. I agree they shouldn't take a legal route or seek revenge. But if it were my chapter I would feel so sad that I would not be able to spend time together with all of my sisters in the same place. I am not best friends with everyone in my chapter but I do enjoy every member's presence. I too hope they take the high road but I also understand that not every Theta's reaction will be the same. I don't see anything wrong with forming their own group if they are allowed, without going underground of course. I truly wish them the best and understand if they have a hard time looking positively at their situation right away.
