My heart goes out to Theta. I can’t speculate about what happened; I wasn’t there. Mistakes were made, but no doubt some girls in that chapter had nothing to do with it. It’s a sad time for theta, smu, and the Greek community. Thetas, you have an opportunity to act with grace here. Instead of “lawyering up” and going underground, instead of being rebellious and seeking revenge, I have a suggestion. Forgive. Let it go. Move on. Be kind to others and quit talking about it. Get off social media. Go to church, sing a hymn, do something nice for the Dallas community. Use your resources to help the world. Spend the rest of your time at smu in a positive way. Please know there are people praying for you all.
