HI my name is Jessie, I live right outside of Philly and I was wondering if the fact that im not from the south will hurt me during rush. I have heard from some people that at southern schools sororities prefer girls from the south over girls from the North. Is this true? My mom was a Kappa Kappa Gamma and my sister Kappa Alpha Theta but neither went to SMU will this help me in any way? Thanks.
