The actives will guide your conversations so follow their cues. These are not interviews, they are conversations, and every sorority is looking to see if you have this important social skill, not just certain houses. Each house is looking for the same things: cute, sweet, fun girls who will be assets to the sisterhood and supportive friends, not be a liability to the house or their reputation. Do not talk about boys or drinking. Do not give one-word answers or just one sentence; you want to elaborate a bit about yourself and what you are interested in and why so they can get a glimpse of your personality, sense of humor, and confidence, but don't run on too much or dominate the encounter. Remember to also express interest in the active you are talking to and ask some questions in return about her and the chapter. And the three you mentioned are not the only ones; don't get dejected and drop out if/when you are released when others are still interested in you because every single one of them is stellar and worth joining.
