This narrative makes it seem like there is some predetermined number of 'spots' available in each house before rush starts. This is not how it works. Quota is not determined until after the pref round and is based on the total number of pnm's turning in MRABA cards. And if every pnm at pref in a house they think they don't fit in would just look around at the other pnm's there, they would see an amazing group of beautiful, fun, sweet, smart women who would make up that new member class if they would just give that house a chance.
