Not anytime soon. Expansion is considered when the pledge classes become so large that chapters are outgrowing their houses. For that to happen, a lot more girls need to go through rush & FINISH rush by accepting a bid. It also helps if all chapters are consistently making quota or else you have a similar situation to Ole Miss (similar brutal rush & hyper competitive Greek system) where they recently added two chapters only to have their always weak chapter (Theta) close this year. Adding new chapters in an unbalanced system only hurts the weak chapter and then you don’t end up having any more chapters on campus and don’t alleviate overcrowding.
