Being a legacy at any sorority guarantees that you make it to philanthropy day, besides that there’s nothing too special. Being a legacy will get you looked at a second time before they decide to cut you or not, but if you’re personality doesn’t fit in with the house legacy doesn’t matter. There’s too many legacies at SMU for it to be a big pull like it is on the east/west coast.
