I am a mom of a daughter in a “top tier “ sorority. My daughter had ZERO connections at SMU, no alums in our family. My daughter is out going and can talk to anyone. She met lots of girls in 2 of the top 3 houses. You have to put yourself out there I also agree that ALL of the houses are great, go with your heart, you will make life long friends. If you didn’t get what you wanted, try again next year. If you still don’t get what you want, all is not lost. My daughter had friends who did not get bids for various reasons and they still went to parties and enjoyed their time at SMU!
