I think you need to be able to know specifically why you didn't click with many girls last semester and what will be different during rush. If you were shy and awkward and still are shy and awkward..it's going to be tough. If something else was going on that you feel you have resolved / conquered, then things might go better. I would not expect a top house if you're not a legacy, don't have anyone pulling for you in the house, and aren't an exceptional PNM (4.0, campus leadership, etc).
