It's very informal, you get more of a one on one with the girls and are less rushed than in formal. If you have an idea of who you want, or just want something more low key, i'd recommend. The sororities will start announcing recruitment early in the semester if they are going to do it, but it all depends on numbers if they do it or not. Also each chapter has different GPS req, which isn't normally released. It's better to be over a 3.00 at least but each chapter is different.
