Plenty of girls wait until the spring of their sophomore year to even begin to rush, so don't be discouraged that you're not a freshman. There are lots of girls in my sorority, and in many others that joined as sophomores or even juniors. You can also try to rush again for that sorority you may have been overlooked, and you can start rushing them from the fall so they recognize who you are during formal recruitment in the Spring if that's the case. Also maybe make an effort again to revisit some of the other sororities you thought you didn't like originally!
