A source close to the IFC has told me of a rumor that daylongs will be legalized by the IFC for the upcoming Spring 2016 semester, but there is a catch. According to the rumor, daylongs will only be allowed at fraternities with permanent fencing systems (i.e. rented FratFix chain-link fences are not qualifiable). This could mean great news for fenced houses or unique houses like Sammy with the pit, ATO, Sig Ep, DU and their new fence, and even Zeta Psi and Pi Lamb. If daylongs are legalized, but with the given catch, things could change a lot socially.
