Subject:
local npc responds to new greek life reform

Poster Message:
onwardstate.com/2017/06/05/panhellenic-council-pens-letter-on-new-greek-life-reform/ The above link is the recent article regarding the local NPC's response to the new Greek Life reform at PSU. Penn State’s Panhellenic Council released a letter Monday morning concerning the new Greek life reforms passed by the Board of Trustees Friday. “We ensure that every woman has a place in Panhellenic if she so chooses. Today, this promotion of inclusivity has been deemed as dangerous and leading to an ‘unwiedly’ number,” the letter reads. The new reforms will transfer the responsibility of disciplining sorority chapters away from the Panhellenic Council and place it in the hands of the university. Also notable, all students involved in Greek life will be required to pay a capitation fee (read: Greek tax) to support police services and staff to monitor and spot-check the Greek system.
