Everyone needs to stop blaming Greek Life for the tragedy that occurred at Beta Theta Pi. Because it wasn't Greek Life. It was peoples morals. Every person who was at Beta that night had the moral obligation to act to help a fellow student, a friend, a human being. The concerns shouldn't be what are we going to do with Greek Life. It should be what are we going to do about people's morals. Undoubtably, the boys and girls at Beta on Feb 2 and 3 were more caught up in what would happen to them then another person. Going forward, we all need to change our mind sets. Instead of "ill go on academic probation, my parents will kill me" (which wouldn't happen because of the medical aid act) it should be "if i don't help will my friend or fellow student be okay in the morning". We need to start trusting our gut if we think that something is wrong.
