It is long past time that the Penn State IFC follow the model set by the University of Colorado. Simply put, it is time for IFC and member chapters to break off from any university recognition. There is no benefit to it. This ridiculous deferred rush is exactly what led Colorado to separate. Also, a perpetual ban for any chapter is way overboard. With that, you are no longer punishing the individuals responsible but hurting the alumni of the chapter. A separate IFC can set its own rules, standards and judiciary procedures. Anything else is going to be continued negation with a university admin that is strategically trying to kill the Greek system over time.
