Freshman girls: people will slide paper invites under ur door starting on the first day, this will get u through the first few weeks no problem plus its a good way to meet ppl in greek life. Rush events for sororities will also be in full swing in the beginning, so meet people in your dorm, classes, etc and youll get invites. If you join a sports club/team youll have ur own social schedule. Freshman boys: same thing as the girls, just less of it (less invites, frats are way more exclusive etc) you will also most likely have to pay to get in anywhere you go. Going with a group of girls helps, ratio just has to be right. Also: If u cant find anywhere, start at the bars and youll be fine. Fakes r a must. once rush is over, greek life becomes way more exclusive, but by that point youll have met enough people and made enough connects to get u through the rest of the year. Overall it will work out dont worry. Anyone else: why are you asking this question...you shouldve figured this out by now.
