I am a young alum who was looking at posts about Kappa Kappa Gamma and other sororities today and was slightly disappointed (but not at all surprised) with what I saw. Some posters were rating Kappa Kappa Gamma slowly because of their physical appearance. As someone who is a little older and wiser, I would like to dispense some much-needed advice to young men on this board as a man myself: Looks really are not important in the real world, unless your job entails being an actor, news anchor, or some other occupation where an appealing physical appearance is critical. The heart is what matters. Please be mature. Please be kind to the Kappa Kapps Gamma girls. They are some of the sweetest women, according to my niece who is in another sorority at Yale but who is friends with lots of Kappas. Life is so short and when you look back at life, you will want to know that you lived it to the fullest by having lived a life of love and moral profundity, as opposed to a life of meanness and shallowness.
