While sig ep is certainly bad, the actions of the YDN, and particularly last year’s leadership, are much more harmful. Theoretically, the YDN is supposed to be a neutral arbitrator of opinions and ideas. When the editors of last year allow allegiance to sig ep to cloud those duties, the paper as a whole fails. This needs to be publicized.
