Frats that care about rankings and their image: #1 SigEp (the most controversial and petty door policy of them all, but they have the nicest architecture of all the houses with the deck. they attract and give bids to guys that care about this ranking stuff. but no one will say they are not #1 despite serious systemic issues. guys still want to get bids) #2 DKE (extremely popular among athletes, and don't do many public parties filled with frosh. good connections to theta and pi phi if you ignore the High Street groupies. extremely strong $$$ alumni base and old money connections. many brothers are wealthy, some are billionaires. growing NYC/ non athlete group and getting more prestigious). #3 Leo/SAE (most people on campus think they are garbage. can't mix with sororities, a big problem for potential rushes, who will have to choose to join despite this problem. pledge classes are getting better though. very international vibe doesn't always go well with a majority of american guys) #4 AEPi (they have been aggressively trying to improve their image and get more diverse classes of guys. they got a new house which is a step up and they do formals at 116 crown. still, many are filled with rejects of the other ones who decided they still wanted to join a frat).
