Recently this website has been a war zone of negativity so I thought we could make a thread where everyone says something nice about the other sororities. Here are my thoughts: Theta: What I really like about Theta is how involved all the girls are. None of them are JUST in Theta and nothing else. They all have a diverse array of interests. Not to mention Theta is super racially diverse as well, and committed to being progressive. Being the oldest and most prestigious sorority, they could decide to stick to tradition and status, but they continue to push the boundaries. Alpha Phi: It blows my mind how good they have gotten in only 3 years. APhi is also super diverse, they have regular mixers with well-regarded frats, their philanthropy event this year (brunch at Harvest) was AMAZING, their crushes and formals are well-attended, and the girls are actually really chill and laid-back people. They secured a house and actually BOUGHT and renovated it. They have developed and improved from the ground up in record time and I'm super optimistic about what the future holds for them. Pi Phi: I think the athletic vibe of Pi Phi fills a space at Yale that is sorely needed. People often talk about the gap between athletes and non-athletes, and forget that we are all Yale students. Pi Phi has really strong sisterhood, the president is an AMAZING person, and Highlight is always a blast, not to mention economically accessible for everyone. The girls stick together, stick up for one another, and mix with every frat they are assigned to regardless of "status" or location. They have made the best of not having a house this year, thanks again to the president. Kappa: Kappa is a space for not typical "sorority girls" to benefit from Greek life: sisterhood, a place to call home and to hang out in, mixers, and tons of fun. They aren't competitive rush-wise, and that's okay. In fact, it's actually a really good thing. They are inclusive, supportive, and very sweet girls with a long history at Yale at doing their own thing and being proud of it.
