ON CAMPUS Sig chi: classic frat star type, been undisputed top for last 2 years but party’s were lame and infrequent in the fall and their spring rush class was small and not great so that likely won’t stay the case. That being said they’re going to stay a staple at the top for the foreseeable future. These guys are a fun time for sure KA: “southern frat” is their national rep but most of these kids are from the north east. Similar to sig chi but definitely more rough around the edges. Have a history of being pretty reckless I honestly don’t know how they’re still on campus. Party’s are great and the guys are a lot of fun but for the past 2 years they can’t get a day drink going for their life. Kinda always been top but have gone through periods where they are less relevant than others, they are on a really good track from what I can see Sig Ep: every girl goes through her sig ep phase. Probably the best looking frat on campus.. kinda known as the pretty boys but honestly in my experience they’re just not as fun or cool as Sig Chi, KA, Kappa Sig, OPK or lambda. Have higher GPA requirements and care about things other than social life. They get a bad wrap With guys because they don’t haze. Kinda lack brotherhood. Middle tier ——————————————————— Beta: kinda new to campus but have done a good job of rising through the ranks fairly fast. Really sweet boys but clearly just a completely different breed from the Sig Chi, KA, Kappa Sig, Lambda. opk crowd. They mix more with lower and bottom tier sororities. Middle tier ZBT: I never went through a ZBT phase so i can’t speak with authority here. I’d imagine it’s like beta but who knows someone feel free to chime in Every other on campus frat is very irrelevant and kind of a joke OFF CAMPUS Kappa sig: I’d say kappa sig, KA, and Sig chi are all kinda the same flavor but if KA is more rough around the edges, kappa sig is Fairfield county boarding school types (I mean every frat is like that but them more than anyone else). A lot of people are sayin their middle but they’re delusional and are definitely top, let’s not kid ourselves. Lambda: used to me known as the muscle head fraternity that was super Broey but is kind of struggling these days. They gave out a lot of bids and didn’t have a great bid to accepted bid ratio this year and between last year and this year have basically lost all their relevant houses. Still top But probably most at risk for falling into irrelevance in the coming years. Old Pi Kapp: these guys wrote the book on how to thrive off campus And aren’t going anywhere . They’ve managed to pull some really cool guys and are probably the best day drink frat at Elon By far. Top tier
