With over 80 years of fraternity and sorority history, Greek Life is an Elon tradition. The fraternity and sorority community provides brotherhood and sisterhood for over 2,400 men and women every year. Approximately 42% of undergraduate students at Elon are members of the Greek community, which is comprised of 25 Greek organizations. Three student-run councils govern the fraternities and sororities. These include the Interfraternity Council, the National Pan-Hellenic Council and the Panhellenic Association. In addition to their individual functions, the councils work in collaboration to offer community events such as Greek Week and Trick-or-Treat on Greek Street.”
