@Jill Elon is far from a "hell hole" LOL . Our campus has received many awards and scholarships for academics, scholar athletes, campus awards for gardens and aesthetic, awards for our environmental approach to our campus ... solar, composting, farming, waste, recycling, etc. our internships and after college employment contacts are widely complimented. We also have a very philanthropic student body of students. Our professors are extremely caring about our student body and go the extra mile. Very sorry to hear that you had a rough year and felt this way about Elon. At any college you need to find your tribe of people/friends and get involved. Good luck at NC state .
